The Golden Grin predates the IBGF. The current federation was chartered in 2026 and formally inherited the recognized Battlegasm record book from the independent circuit that began in 2019.

A score for one sanctioned performance. Intensity, Duration, Difficulty, Execution and Showmanship are weighted into a final 0.00–10.00 result.
A rolling competitive rating. Recent results, opponent strength, consistency, discipline difficulty and championship weighting determine where a Climaxthlete stands in the world.
Trailing twelve-month Gasm Index, updated weekly. The Finnisher remains the problem everyone else has to solve.

The Gasm Index measures rolling competitive strength. Championship Points reset each tour year and determine the twenty-four World Finals berths. Fans call them Grin Points. The federation has asked them not to.
Each discipline rewards a different competitive skill set. The unified rulebook does not pretend these things should be comparable. The Gasm Index does.

The Championship
First awarded in 2019 and formally carried into the IBGF record book by the 2026 Lausanne Continuity Clause, the Golden Grin is older than its current regulator, brighter than most arena lighting rigs, and considerably more recognizable.
Twenty-four Climaxthletes reach the World Finals. One gets the Grin. Multiple-time winners enter the Grinners' Circle.
Climaxthletics 2036
The campaign began under the old World Climaxthletics Council in 2022. The IBGF inherited it in 2026, along with the binders, the consultants, and an extraordinary confidence in administrative persistence.
