FAQ

The minimum context required to explain Battlegasm to another adult without making the explanation shorter.

Is Battlegasm real?

Battlegasm is currently a fictional extreme-sports reality property presented as though professional Climaxthletics already has the institutions, statistics, scandals and bureaucracy of a global sport.

Is this pornography?

No. The creative direction is sports satire, not explicit sexual content. The focus is competition, telemetry, characters, commentary, rules, spectacle and absurd institutional seriousness.

Who can compete?

Only adults age 18 or older may be represented as competitors. There is no youth or junior Climaxthletics program.

What is a Gasm Score?

A Gasm Score rates one sanctioned performance from 0.00 to 10.00 using weighted components for Intensity, Duration, Difficulty, Execution and Showmanship.

What is the Gasm Index?

The Gasm Index is a separate 0–100 rolling competitive rating used for world rankings. It considers recent scores, placements, opponent strength, consistency, discipline coefficient and championship weighting.

How many Climaxthletes are there?

The IBGF registry currently recognizes 146 licensed adult competitors across 41 sanctioned territories. Sixty-four are on the 2026 international tour. Battlegasm TV maintains full featured profiles for twelve of them, and twenty-four competitors ultimately qualify for the World Finals.

What are Championship Points?

Championship Points are the season-specific qualification currency earned at the five Majors. They reset each tour year and determine the twenty-four World Finals berths. They are separate from the rolling Gasm Index. Fans call them Grin Points; the federation mostly pretends not to.

What is Peak G?

Peak G is the highest instantaneous Gasmograph telemetry reading during a qualifying performance. It is neither a Gasm Score nor a Gasm Index, despite what Power-division message boards may suggest.

Why are there champions from before the IBGF existed?

Because the sport predates the federation. The recognized Battlegasm competitive lineage begins in 2019. The IBGF was chartered in 2026 and formally inherited prior sanctioned records and Golden Grin champions through the Lausanne Continuity Clause.

What does “Season One” mean if Battlegasm has existed since 2019?

Season One refers to BATTLEGASM: Road to the Golden Grin, the fictional reality television series. Cameras join the 2026 tour at the Pacific Rim in August; the edited series premieres later in the fall.

Why are there no weight classes?

Battlegasm organizes competition by discipline, qualification and competitive rating rather than body weight. The official league position is simple: Climax has no weight class.

What is the Golden Grin?

The Golden Grin is Battlegasm’s world championship trophy, first awarded in 2019 and carried into the current IBGF record book.

What happens in the Gasm Gauntlet?

Ten stages. One body. No mercy. The complete technical format is deliberately not published.
